Artist Residence is a group of unique, exciting and design led boutique hotels, restaurants and bars located in London, Brighton and Cornwall.

Our relaxed and friendly Brighton hotel has 23 bedrooms, a buzzing restaurant, an innovative cocktail bar and a ping pong meeting room! We are located in the historic Regency Square with beautiful sea-views over the iconic West Pier.

We are currently recruiting for a dynamic, hands on Duty Manager/Host to join our young, energetic and passionate team. You would be integral to our operations and work across all departments, including hosting The Set Restaurant and the Cocktail Shack Bar.

What we are looking for:
– Previous experience in hospitality and an interest in working for an independent hotel
– Extremely organised with the ability to multi-task
– Comfortable working in a high-pressure, fast paced environment
– Keen eye for detail
– Flexibility to respond to a variety of work situations and environments
– Ability to think quickly in order to solve problems and challenges
– An amazing communicator- with both guests and the rest of the team

Duties include:
– Check-in’s & Check-out’s, managing invoices, bills and guest accounts
– Taking Reservations and enquiries for the hotel, restaurant and bar.
– Ensuring guests are looked after
– Ensuring cleanliness and presentation of the building is to a 5* standard at all times
– Hosting in the restaurant and bar throughout the shift – being the first point of contact for guests coming to our venue.
